Concours Grieg

Concours Grieg is arranged by the Oslo Grieg Society in cooperation with the Norwegian Academy of Music. Other partners are the European Piano Teachers' Association Norway (EPTA), the Oslo Music Teachers' Society (OMLF), the Edvard Grieg Museum Troldhaugen and the Ibla Music Foundation, New York and Sicily.
12th Concours Grieg - International Piano Competition 15-18 September 2011, Oslo - Norway 

Welcome to take part in the 12th Concours Grieg!  

 
Concours Grieg has set the highest standard for musical excellence and artistic achievement, attracting pianists from all over the world. In September 2011 Oslo Grieg Society invites pianists to the Norwegian capital to take part in the "12th Concours Grieg" - in one or more of the following categories: 
 

Piano Duo Four Hands (15-17. September) 

 
op. 19, nr 2: Brudefølget drager forbi (Download score) 
 
op. 55, nr 5: Dans av Dovregubbens datter (Download score) 
 
op. 56: Tre orkesterstykker fra Sigurd Jorsalfar (Download score) 
 

Two-Piano Duo (16-18. September)  

 
 

Application deadline is 24 August 2011. No age limit. 

NB: The next solo piano competition will take place in 2012. 

Since 2004 Concours Grieg is a member of the Alink-Argerich Foundation.
