Fuglen filmklubb

Fuglen filmklubb is an initiative by local movie enthusiasts, aiming to gather people around high quality movies, to watch, talk and spend time together. The club name is inspired by the fact that so many streets around Landåstorget are named after birds. The screening is for free, and you dont need to sign up in advance. Just bring a neighbour, a friend or show up alone - welcome!

Fulgen filmklubb in collaboration with Landås bibliotek welcomes you to its new film-screening season: Films that unite people of the world.

This autumn, we set on a journey through four films shot throughout the world that reach beyond words and conversation to explore something shared across places and cultures: the human condition. Through lives unfolding far from one another, and through feelings moving between sorrow and joy, we will explore different dimensions of how people become connected with others and with themselves to be a coherent lasting self. Across the four films, our journey moves from an unexpected and almost mystical bond, to a deep intimate connection, to a relationship coming apart, and finally toward an embrace of oneself and a sense of inner unity. So we invite you to join this exploration!
