What happens when the daughter of one of the most powerful men in America walks away from privilege, becomes spiritually awakened, and joins a mysterious religious movement?

At the centre of the novel is Xeolite, a mysterious black substance with almost miraculous properties, revered by a growing spiritual sect devoted to ancient wisdom, meditation, devotion and the pursuit of higher consciousness. As its influence spreads, the boundaries between genuine spiritual awakening, religious devotion, political power and manipulation begin to blur.

What begins as an unlikely journey of enlightenment becomes something much larger: a story about what happens when people discover something they believe can transform humanity—and decide it must be worshipped.

In Xeo We Trust will be published on November 16, 2026, and will be available internationally through Amazon and Barnes & Noble online.

Jones will discuss the inspiration behind her debut novel, its characters, its spiritual and political themes, and the real-world ideas that inspired its fictional universe.
